Back in Denver

A trip through the valley from the Sangre de Christo mountains to the Arkansas river took me back to 4 years ago when we did a road trip through the Arkansas gorge. It is indeed a beautiful river in the beginnings of its life. Pics on camera sorry.




We stopped for coffee at canon city.-and then the journey back into civilization = many cars and roads began.




Back to the Denver house where we will stay for the next 3 days. Arghhhhh the traffic is alarmingly fast. Hunter feeling perky




After we settled onto the house we explored the neighbourhood


on foot


and bought some groceries to prepare for Dans final arrival tonight.


Hunter found a few treats in the second hand shop







We didnt buy as tempting as they were. But we treated Hunter to a hair wash and cut at a little store down the road. We loved it and the hairdresser loved her and wanted to introduce her to his ten year old son.












Enjoyed the lighting at the Denver house












Feeling tired after the travel and looking forward to seeing family tomorrow night. Hope Dan is in fine fettle after his long flight. Terry will bring him here about 11 tonight.
