and with a packed lunch on board we spent the day exploring the Park. Lots of photos.
Moose Visitor centre well worth a look with excellent displays.
Inside and out.
Lake Jenny was beautiful
but the sign warning about bears at Lake Leigh meant we were not quite prepared to walk there.
Crowds of people around but quite pleasant nevertheless.
We also went to the Coltor visitor centre
which had Indian artefacts and a shop and views of boats on the lake.
Then to Jackson Lake Lodge for the views and saw mum and baby moose on the flats.
A little more shopping.
Looped back around and saw another moose cow and her calf standing in the Snake river.
Stunning scenery but smoke agin us for photos of the mountains.
Hope for a clear day in the morning as we drive north to Yellowstone.
Saw some wild animals - crows, coyote and moose.
Haha
